About Us

Tumi Resources Limited trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "TM", on the Frankfurt Exchange under symbol "TUY" and in the United States on the Pink Sheets under symbol "TUMIF". Tumi is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company focused on the discovery of silver deposits in Mexico and Sweden. The Company has also staked a portfolio of properties in Sweden containing tungsten. Tumi's Management comprises highly experienced accounting, financial, geological, mining engineering and public relations personnel.

Mexico (four projects 100% owned or under option):  Tumi’s initial and ongoing focus is Mexico, one of the world’s top silver producers. The Company continues to study means of advancing the La Trini NI 43-101 compliant silver-gold-tellurium resource. The resource contains 6.48 million troy ounces Ag and 46,900 troy ounces Au in the Indicated category and 611,400 troy ounces Ag and 5,700 troy ounces Au in the Inferred category.

Sweden (nine 100%-owned projects): Research for new silver projects led Tumi to the Bergslagen District of south-central Sweden where Tumi has nine projects, including the historic Sala silver mine where Tumi has defined a 4 to 5 million tonne zinc-silver exploration target located parallel to, and about 200 metres west of, the historic mine.  As well, Tumi is drill-testing the down-plunge extension of the historic mine and encouraging results in the first hole has led to an increase in the number of holes to be drilled on this target.

Tumi's has staked five claims containing tungsten prospects also located in the Bergslagen district of south-central Sweden.  Two of the projects named Sandudden and Gussarvet contain inferred historical resources.

Corporate Management:  David Henstridge, a graduate from Adelaide University, Australia, with an Honours Degree in Geology, Nick DeMare, Harvey Lim and Rod Johnston, all chartered accountants, and combined, have extensive experience in international mineral exploration and management. Mr. Henstridge, a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, is Tumi's qualified person and has reviewed and verified the contents of this website.

Any reference to historical resources data was compiled prior to the implementation of NI 43 101 reporting standards.  Tumi has not completed sufficient exploration to verify the estimates and is not treating them as NI 43 101 defined-resources or reserves verified by a Qualified Person; the historical estimate should not be relied upon.
